The works Hollow lips and Blue ears are permanently installed at University College Absalon in Slagelse (DK). The works are site and building integrated and have been produced concurrently with the university college. Hollow lips hang in the cafeteria meeting the students of Nursing, Social Work, Nutrition, and Health and the B. Ed. program for primary and lower secondary school teachers. The lips, or the big mouth, are made of fiber glass - a textile material, airy and empty inside. The cavity of the mouth makes it a vessel, but its inner void can also direct the mind towards empty words, silent lips or just being quiet.
